[Davesprite lapses into silence for a while, comparing what he knows and how she acted that morning with Eren's report. Their conversation may have ended in laughter and a strange, dizzying freedom, but he can't just forget how his stomach dropped when she said, 'It was never going to be okay.'
He's checked the chronology. Time guy, it's what he does. She was distant after the Axel guy showed up, but she didn't freak until Riku.

[Eren is glad at least ONE of them can keep up with time. He can't. But then, Eren is the feelings guy.]

Well, for one thing, he didn't even bother talking to me with the voice function until I told him my name. He seems... cold. Withdrawn? Standoffish for sure. Got real defensive before I even asked anything. But since our conversation wasn't too long, I wasn't able to get a really good read on him. I mean, I don't think he's a bad guy. I don't think anyone Xion calls a friend could be a bad guy. But I don't know if I like him.
