Yeah. I mean... it's still better than home. If she were missing back home... it'd be a whole different story. [he chuckles humorlessly] I always have energy to be angry. There's a reason I was always that "angry suicidal idiot" in the barracks. [he fiddles with the ends of his scarf aimlessly] I guess... this is kind of one of the best things about there being three of us... If one vanishes, the other two aren't alone. We didn't plan it that way, it just... turned out that way. [he hums thoughtfully, then sort of flops over to lean on Davesprite, lacing his fingers into his wings again. Primarily those soft fluffy ones near his back. Because they're nice]
... I might do that, too. Mikasa... went home. So between her and Xion, I kind of need to go blow off some steam.

[He glances at Eren, but wait yes that feels nice. Davesprite's wing twitches once and then some of the tension winds out of him. It's good to be touched. It's good to remember he's not alone at the end of the world again.
He winds an arm around Eren's back, holds him to shore him up.]

[Davesprite doesn't say anything for a while, just holds Eren and lets him pet his feathers. It's the steam rising from the cocoa that prompts him to straighten, though he doesn't extricate himself just yet.]

[he squints, looking him over] No, you've got like... a torso here. [but the mental image of nothing but a disembodied tail with wings makes Eren snigger. But with a lapful of birdghost, he does what comes naturally.
