Well I was kind of assuming that Lamont would be the one to do both??? Because if Xion is hiding with him off the battlefield and she looks ready to snap, if he gets ahold of her before she can bolt, then there's no way he's letting go before he talks her down. In that case, no one on the battlefield proper would have any idea what she's even going through until the coast is clear.
If, however, you'd rather her get away before Lamont can grab her, in all likelihood, he will not be following her; in fact, since her running out gave their position away, he'll probably end up slipping away to find a new hiding spot. So I'm not sure he would be the one to get her to safety, in this case? Idk, just let me know what makes sense to you.
