Ruby City HGW - Plotting post for the showdown with Sephiroth where Davesprite dies!

OUTLINE SO FAR:

> Xion and Dave (Team Sabersprite), on the basis of Waver's previous post about Team Seph, engage them when they see Sephiroth patrolling the city by air. They decide to try to lure Seph into a more secluded area but only make it as far as the stables.
> The fight begins - Davesprite vs. Sephiroth, with Xion and Elena on the sidelines.
> WHILE THAT IS HAPPENING, Xion contacts Waver and Lamont (Team Eyebrows and Hair)
> Waver then contacts Roxy (Team Robots), and Saber (Team Big Guns). Roxy contacts Dirk.
> Team Eyebrows and Hair arrive on scene.
> Triple tagging between Davesprite, Seph, and Waver. Lamont uses a Command Seal on Waver to give him a boost.
> Xion and Lamont are well out of the way, and likely also discussing things.
> THE FATAL BLOW IS STRUCK
> Elena uses a Command Seal to keep Sephiroth from going after Xion.
> Team Robots and Team Big Guns arrive just in time to see that happen. (Is Waver out of commission at this point as well?) I guess this is where they step in to keep Sephiroth busy while...
> Davesprite dies (three-way thread with Xion and Dirk).
> Sephiroth uses Supernova, and Tieria likely also uses his Noble Phantasm. Seph and Elena get away while everyone else scatters.

OH WAIT I WANT TO CLARIFY ONE THING! I am super happy and super fine with Lamont being the one to take Xion and abscond with her post-fight so she doesn't get killed and/or just sit in the street like a zombie for an hour. BUT do you also want him to be the one that holds her back from trying to kill Sephiroth with her bare hands? |D It could definitely be a tag team thing, someone holds her back, she stops struggling, but due to distractions from Sephiroth getting away Lamont is the one to actually get her off the scene.

IF YOU WANT HIM TO BE THE ONE TO DO BOTH that's fine, though I'd sort of like for the one to stop her to be Dirk...... (aha) (uses plurk emotes on dreamwidth what's up) UP TO YOU!

ACTUALLY i spoke to fee about it and.... i actually would like Dirk to be the one that holds Xion back. /sadcat ARE YOU OKAY WITH THAT? lamont will still 100% be the guy to get her to safety after the battle.

Well I was kind of assuming that Lamont would be the one to do both??? Because if Xion is hiding with him off the battlefield and she looks ready to snap, if he gets ahold of her before she can bolt, then there's no way he's letting go before he talks her down. In that case, no one on the battlefield proper would have any idea what she's even going through until the coast is clear.

If, however, you'd rather her get away before Lamont can grab her, in all likelihood, he will not be following her; in fact, since her running out gave their position away, he'll probably end up slipping away to find a new hiding spot. So I'm not sure he would be the one to get her to safety, in this case? Idk, just let me know what makes sense to you.

Oh! Hummmm. I'd be willing to change things up so Lamont did both, but she's actually for sure breaking cover. She does the dumb hero thing and rushes out when it's clear her Servant is in danger and ends up, like, cradling his body while he's dying. So I think that will not work. :(

That said, I can at least provide this: Xion can teleport, so she can break cover without giving away Lamont's location if you prefer!

It's not much a matter to me whether she runs out or teleports, but considering the plans you've already made Davesprite, Lamont really doesn't fit into them, so I'll just bow out and let you two do the thing.

I AM SORRY :( fwiw I'd still be happy to have them chat/thread while the majority of the battle goes down and then she can abscond to be dumb while he's still safe in his location. If that works for you?
