Ruby City HGW - Plotting post for the showdown with Sephiroth where Davesprite dies!

OUTLINE SO FAR:

> Xion and Dave (Team Sabersprite), on the basis of Waver's previous post about Team Seph, engage them when they see Sephiroth patrolling the city by air. They decide to try to lure Seph into a more secluded area but only make it as far as the stables.
> The fight begins - Davesprite vs. Sephiroth, with Xion and Elena on the sidelines.
> WHILE THAT IS HAPPENING, Xion contacts Waver and Lamont (Team Eyebrows and Hair)
> Waver then contacts Roxy (Team Robots), and Saber (Team Big Guns). Roxy contacts Dirk.
> Team Eyebrows and Hair arrive on scene.
> Triple tagging between Davesprite, Seph, and Waver. Lamont uses a Command Seal on Waver to give him a boost.

So, this fight is going to have a LOT of moving parts.

For that reason, I'm going to definitely say that we need to outline things: what is happening, and we should break it down into specific threads that will have two - maybe three - people tagging at a time, to make sure that we get the ball rolling. From a mod perspective, I need to know the final outcome of the fight so I can circulate that information to everyone accordingly, and from a sanity perspective, it helps to know where you're aiming.

To get an idea of what I have in mind, I'm going to link a fight post that I took part of in a smaller Grail War game.

All that's for sure right now is that Sephiroth will win and Davesprite will die. I think Dirk Strider will be showing up just before Davesprite goes - there could potentially be other backup there depending on who Xion and Davesprite contact before the fight begins. It might be Waver they get in touch with!

Also, I am referring you below. Is anyone announcing network-wide the outcome of the battle?

MORE THAN LIKELY she'll be contacting him the next morning! he'll undoubtedly hear about it - MEG, IS THE FIGHT AND SUBSEQUENT DEATH GETTING ANNOUNCED BY ANYONE? - but Xion will disappear shortly after the fight's conclusion. No one will be able to find her until the following morning, at which point she will get in touch with Eren via watch.

Few things on my end!

1) Davesprite's only goal in this Grail War is to protect Xion, because he is a loser, and that is what he does. However, he does generally agree with what Team Stop Fighting is doing and is generally inclined towards being a reluctant hero.

2) Davesprite's stats are:

• Strength (C)
• Mana (C)
• Agility (A)
• Endurance (E) still laughing forever
• Luck (E)

This combined with his Noble Phantasm, which allows him limited ability to hop around in time (a couple seconds) and also switches his form around from ghost bird to a denser, actually human kid form, makes him extremely hard to hit. However, once hit, he is pretty much down for the count.

3) My personal preference is for Davesprite to take his mortal wound while physically shielding Xion.

Roxy and Tieria are pretty down with actively taking out baddies, so if you want them to be the backup that doesn't get there in time that would let Roxy get Dirk there too, and solve two birds with one stone!

After Davesprite disappears in a mess of shoujo sparkles, Xion is going to be beside herself with rage and grief. I need someone to stop her from attempting to physically assault Sephiroth right then and there, since, well, the plan is for her to live. Anyone wanna be the one to grab a shrieking, potentially crying poppet?

Also: does anyone want to take her home? She won't stay - maybe an hour tops before she teleports away - but once she's stopped from immediately trying to fight Sephiroth she'll be more or less an empty, unresponsive shell. So if they don't want her to just chill out in the street for a while someone's gotta pick her up and take her away.

VOLUNTEERS? YES NO? Sorry about her.

Outline looks good, sounds like you guys pretty much got the details together. Except for perhaps how it ends? I -was- thinking showing off Noble Phantasm towards the end since there will be a lot of people in the surrounding area and a big meteor coming crashing from the sky would get all sorts of people to scatter and could also provide a cover for Sephiroth/Elena to get away?? Also are we still planning this for Day 6 - only because Elena still needs to learn about Command Seals, in the meantime, from a little fight thing we've plotted with Aerith/Fang...

THE BASIC IDEA RIGHT NOW: Xion is going to contact Waver and Waver alone before the fight. Waver will then contact both Roxy and Saber. Roxy will be the one to either notify Dirk, or just fuckin bring him along. So that's for you guys to work out!

Roxy, Dirk, and Tieria will arrive 15 minutes late with Starbucks, so they won't be able to help in the battle, but Dirk will get some last words in with Davesprite. Asher and I are fine either way with a three-way Dirk/Xion/Davesprite thread, or if you'd rather Dirk have bro-time with Davesprite, we can do two two-way threads (Xion and Davesprite, Dirk and Davesprite). Asher and I are both fine with breaking spacetime for this, so if you wanna go with two two-way, that's for sure fine with both of us.

I ALSO WANTED TO ASK YOU IF YOU WANTED XION AND DIRK TO TALK during this lead-up to Davesprite's death! Y'WANNA THREAD. :U

IMPORTANT QUESTIONS EYES HERE

1) Sephiroth and Elena need a means of absconding. Sephiroth will wait until Davesprite has died, and then use his Noble Phantasm, Supernova, to bring a meteor down on the area. This, of course, will cause everyone to scramble. Everyone can live, for sure! They just need to all leave. Is this okay with everyone involved? Meg, would this be alright with you and Fel? If everyone clears it that's what will happen; but if anyone is not okay with it plans can be changed!

2) Davesprite is going to die in Xion's arms, as if things go well (har har "well") Davesprite will have received his mortal blow while protecting her, thus saving her life. However, there are no plans for Xion to die, so someone has to save her from getting poked full of holes! I figure there's two ways to do this: Elena stops him by threatening a Command Seal, or one or several of the other combatants present can get in-between Xion and Sephiroth to block him. So Amber, this is for you, potentially; and anyone else who might want to step in to do that as well. (The answer could also be both, I'm sure!)

3) How does everyone feel about this going down on Day 7? (That, to my understanding, would be Saturday the 5th; someone please do correct me if I'm wrong about that.)
